Cracking little tent, got it cheap off the Terra Nova website as a selected second - basically been used as a demo tent for a year before hand, not a mark on it and in perfect condition.
Had a few nights away in it both walking and on the bike, packs away into a tiny size and is quite light for its construction. Very sturdy in the strong winds of the highlands.
Being 6ft3 I find it a bit tight for space and struggle to sit up in it for long periods of time but plenty of room when lying down. Gear stowage is limited at the porch end which meant it was difficult to cook in the doorway during bad weather and keep your gear protected so a dry bag is essential.
Erects in a couple of minutes with ease and is ideal as a one man tent - forget those hooped bivi bags get one of these.

I bought this as a tent for backpacking up into the mountains and I've done five nights in it over three trips now, so I'm getting a feel for it.
Pitching is about as easy as it gets without being a pop-up. It pitches as one. Just lay it out on the ground with a peg to stop it blowing away, assemble the poles and pin the ends into the rings on the webbing, then basically hang the tent on the poles like hanging out washing. There are three guys to peg out and eight elastic loops.
Supplied pegs are short alloy v-angle pegs which are OK but I've substituted/added some alloy pin pegs (Alpkit Candy Canes) to peg down the webbing and use on the guys.
Once it's pegged out the fly is nice and tight so it doesn't flap, although it's harder to get the porch as solid, especially on uneven ground. With such a small footprint, it pitches almost anywhere and the basic structure can be repositioned before its fully pegged out.
The porch is quite small and elongated. I thought the retractable inner was a gimmick but it's useful to allow you to set up a stove in the lee of the tent. Pegging the porch out for the night is fiddly from the inside when you've had it opened up, especially the two elastic loops at the sides. The front guy is also a little bit in the way for getting in and out. I put my sack outside and keep boots and overnight/breakfast stuff in the porch with room to get in and out. I'll probably add a loop on the lower zipper to make unzipping easier.
There's just enough headroom at the door to sit up but it's tight for me at 5'11'. It's nice and warm inside and the inner stays off the fly. It helps to have a breeze to increase ventilation. By a damp tarn with no breeze, I did get condensation unless I slept with the inner door unzipped.
Last trip was an 860m pitch with stiffish gusts and it seemed very stable.
Packing away is as simple as pitching and the combined fly and inner fit easily into a medium Exped dry bag. Poles go on the outside of the sack and pegs in the top pocket.
Overall, for the price, it's an excellent backpacking tent that would stand up to rough weather. I only mark it down given the limited space it provides for the weight and the slightly awkward porch area.

Manufacturer's Description
The Wild Country Sololite is a truly versatile one person tent, and with a packed weight of less than 2 kg is ideal for the lightweight backpacker on a budget. There are no sacrifices in quality either with lightweight DAC poles, alloy v-angle pegs, and fully taped seams making this tent suitable for 3-4 season backpacking.
Pitching flysheet first and using colour coded pole tips makes it a doddle to set up, and the clever pole and inner design means stability and internal space are maximised. The real ace-up-the sleeve for this tent however is the retractable inner. This allows you to increase the porch space for cooking whilst shortening the inner to 190cms, leaving plenty of room to lie down - kettle on - and enjoy the view!
Other neat touches include reflective door trim and guylines, and poles that collapse down to 38cms - small enough for most cycle panniers.
